Athletes from beginner to seasoned professional share the common desire to accomplish goals most important to them. Whether this is winning a national championship or posting a personal best at the local time trial event, Sustainable Endurance can help you achieve your goals by implementing these drivers of success.
Experience – I have been an endurance athlete for my entire adult life and understand how to achieve goals within the constraints of life’s demands.
Motivation – Everyone has those days when couch surfing seems more appealing than training. I can help keep the hard training to achieve your goals fun and maximize your training time for more success than you imagined.
Perspective – Athletes are generally very critical of themselves and often not aware of warning signs indicating problems. As a coach, I serve as an impartial observer to provide feedback and make alterations to training plans to achieve desired goals. 
Achievement of cycling goals requires optimizing a training plan to the individual’s life commitments as well as incorporating intangibles such as nutrition and overall body strength. My philosophy is to provide tools for cycling success and increase overall health of the athlete.

 

Platinum

  • An athlete specific program designed for optimum performance at key cycling events and delivered via Training Peaks Premium Account.

  • 3 INSCYD tests per year to tailor the training plan to the athlete's unique physiology and the demands of the goal event(s). [additional INSCYD tests @ $175/test] 

  • Modifications to the training plan done on an as needed basis

  • Enjoy unlimited athlete-initiated coaching communication and coach-initiated communication on an as needed basis.

  • Power and heart rate training files will be reviewed on a daily basis.

  • Nutritional consultation for optimal performance and recovery.

  • 4 sessions per month at Big Al's Cycling Lab - Wahoo KICKR Studio (additional studio sessions @ $10+tax/session) 

  • Cost of the Platinum coaching package is $319+tax per month, plus additional $50 one-time start up fee (1 year commitment required for this package). Athletes are invoiced monthly through Square Up.

Gold

  • An athlete specific program designed for optimum performance at key cycling events and delivered via Training Peaks Premium Account.

  • 2 INSCYD tests per year to tailor the training plan to the athlete's unique physiology with the demands of the goal event(s). (additional INSCYD tests @ $175/test). 

  • Modifications to the training plan will be done on an as needed basis.

  • Enjoy unlimited athlete-initiated coaching communication and coach-initiated communication on a weekly basis.

  • Power and heart rate training files will be reviewed 3X per week.

  • Nutritional consultation for optimal performance and recovery.

  • 2 sessions per month at Big Al's Cycling Lab - Wahoo KICKR Studio (additional studio sessions @ $10+tax/session) 

  • Cost of the Gold coaching package is $219+tax per month, plus additional $50 one-time start up fee (6 month commitment required for this package). Athletes are invoiced monthly through Square Up.

Silver

  • An athlete specific program designed for optimum performance at key cycling events and delivered via Training Peaks Account.

  • 1 INSCYD tests per year to tailor the training plan to the athlete's unique physiology with the demands of the goal event(s). (additional INSCYD tests @ $175/test).

  • Modifications to the training plan will be done on an as needed basis. 

  • Enjoy unlimited athlete-initiated coaching communication and coach-initiated communication on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Power and heart rate training files will be reviewed 2X per week.

  • Nutritional consultation for optimal performance and recovery.

  • 1 sessions per month at Big Al's Cycling Lab - Wahoo KICKR Studio (additional studio sessions @ $10+tax/session) 

  • Cost of the Gold coaching package is $169+tax per month, plus additional $50 one-time start up fee (3 month commitment required for this package). Athletes are invoiced monthly through Square Up.

Bronze

  • An athlete specific program designed for optimum performance at key cycling events and delivered via Training Peaks Account.

  • INSCYD are available at $175/test. Athlete's are encouraged to test so that the training plan can tailor the athlete's unique physiology with the demands of the goal event(s).

  • Modifications to the training plan will be done on an as needed basis. 

  • Enjoy unlimited athlete-initiated coaching communication and coach-initiated communication on a monthly basis.

  • Power and heart rate training files will be reviewed weekly.

  • Nutritional consultation for optimal performance and recovery.

  • Sessions at Big Al's Cycling Lab - Wahoo KICKR Studio available for $10+tax/session.

  • Cost of the Bronze coaching package is $139+tax per month, plus additional $50 one-time start up fee (3 month commitment required for this package). Athletes are invoiced monthly through Square Up.

13-Week Plan

  • A rider specific 13-week training plan designed for optimum performance at key cycling events and delivered via Training Peaks Account. The training plan will be developed after consultation with the athlete and review of historic power and/or heart rate files.

  • INSCYD are available at $175/test. Athlete's are encouraged to test so that the training plan can tailor the athlete's unique physiology with the demands of the goal event(s). 

  • Modifications to the training plan will be done on a monthly basis.

  • Enjoy unlimited athlete-initiated coaching communication and coach-initiated communication monthly.

  • Power and heart rate training files will be reviewed bi-weekly.

  • Sessions at Big Al's Cycling Lab - Wahoo KICKR Studio available for $10+tax/session.

  • Cost of the 13-week plan is $239+tax per month. Athletes are invoiced through Square Up.

When choosing a plan athletes should look for a balance between the level of coaching attention that they desire and plan that they can afford. We are willing to put together an individual plan to best fit the athletes needs (mix and match services), please contact for individual pricing. We also offer a 5% discount for athletes committing to 6 months of coaching services and a 10% discount for athletes committing to 12 months of services (must be paid in a lump sum).
